One IELTS Speaking Assist™ interview: $35

1- Registration & Payment

Once you register for the service via the adjacent form and pay through PayPal, we’ll schedule your IDP IELTS Speaking Assist teleconference interview with an English language expert. The teleconference interview will last for approximately 20 minutes and topics discussed are similar to those in an IELTS test. The level of difficulty, timing and format is exactly as you will experience in an actual IELTS test.

2- Dialing into the service

Upon successful registration, we’ll send you detailed instructions on dialing into your teleconference interview. The interview will be recorded and the English language expert will make notes about your performance.

3- Receive a personalised report

You’ll receive a detailed, personalised report on your IELTS Speaking skills as well as a link to access your IELTS Speaking Assist interview, and you may choose to download it. Your report will be emailed to you within 3 business days after the interview. The personalised report will indicate your strengths and weaknesses and recommended strategies for improvement.


What is the cost for IELTS Speaking Assist service?

The cost for 1 IELTS Speaking Assist™ interview is 35 USD, and must be paid at the time of registration. You are entitled to 1 IELTS Speaking interview only and will receive 1 coach report.

How do I pay for IELTS Speaking Assist service?

Fill in the form and send it to your test centre. The test centre will reply to you with all the payment details and instructions.

How does the IELTS Speaking Assist interview take place?

After registration, you will receive an email with instructions to book your teleconference interview online with our IELTS Speaking Assist coach. You will be able to select your interview date and time from available appointments calendar. The interview will last for approximately 20 minutes and will be recorded.

Who will conduct my IELTS Speaking Assist interview?

Our IELTS experts are all fully trained and experienced teachers who have an extensive understanding of IELTS Speaking assessments. These experts have been trained in delivering all IELTS Speaking Assist interviews.

How long will it take for me to receive my personalized report on my performance?

Following your interview, we will email you a link to access your interview audio file and a personalized report on your performance within 3 business days. You may choose to download the audio file as the link will only be active for 30 days online.

What format will the IELTS Speaking Assist interview audio file be in?

Audio file is saved in M4A format which is compatible with wide range of media players.

Can I register for the service more than once?

Yes you can. New IELTS Speaking Assist tasks are made available on a regular basis to give our customers more variety.

Can I reschedule my IELTS Speaking Assist interview?

All participants may only request a one-off reschedule. To request a reschedule of your interview, please ensure that you email [email protected] a minimum of 72 hours (3 days) before your appointment. Any rescheduling requests received less than 72 hours before your appointment will not be guaranteed as IELTS Speaking Assist coaches will have fixed schedules.

What if I miss my IELTS Speaking Assist interview?

Unfortunately this will be considered as a “no show” and a registrant will not be entitled to a reschedule.

Can I apply for a refund?

Our refund policy for IELTS Speaking Assist Service is as follows:
-100% fee refund if you cancel at least 72 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
-50% fee refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
-0% fee refund if you cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
-100% fee refund if you have not received your report within 3 business days of attending your Speaking Assist Interview.

What is the difference between the IELTS Speaking Assist interview and the IELTS Speaking test?

The IELTS Speaking Assist topics are very similar to real IELTS Speaking test. The level of difficulty, timing and format is exactly as you will experience in an actual IELTS test.

Can I get a band score awarded for my IELTS Speaking Assist interview?

IELTS guidelines strictly forbid us awarding IELTS scores to IELTS Speaking Assist participants. We will, however, point out where your strengths and weaknesses lie in terms of the public version of the official IELTS Assessment Criteria. These Speaking assessment criteria are downloadable from Your coach will refer to these in the feedback you receive after your interview.

The IELTS Speaking task (“the task”) is provided to you by IDP Education Office No.104, Century Plaza Building, Jumeirah 1, Dubai. UAE (“Company”).

IELTS test similarity

The task is designed to be similar to the Speaking component of the IELTS test and to be used to assist your preparation for taking the IELTS test. None of these task materials will appear in the IELTS test and it is conducted by you under different conditions to the supervised and timed testing conditions of an IELTS test.

Your results in this task may differ from those you achieve in the IELTS test component under different testing conditions. The task is provided as a guide to your English language competence, test preparation and practice and to approximately identify your likely standard in testing. It is not a guarantee that you will achieve an identical result in your IELTS test.

Termination of Agreements and Refunds Policy

Both you and we have the right to terminate this service for any reason, including by ending of services that are already underway. A refund may be offered if the service was deemed unsatisfactory and a request must be submitted in writing within 60 days from registration. Contact us in writing at : [email protected]

Force Majeure

The laws of the United Arab Emirates govern these terms and conditions.
